National Alpaca Farm Days
September 25th
& 26th, 2010
Join us for National Alpaca Farm Days, September
25 & 26, 2010, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. This
is a great opportunity to meet these wonderful,
unique animals, purchase items from the store
and visit our alpaca information station. Concessions
will also be available, so bring your family and
friends to have some fun and learn all about the
"alpaca lifestyle"!

Herd Maintenance Days at
Weather Top Alpacas
Want to get hands-on experience with the alpacas?
John us for our monthly herd maintenance days.
Each month we weigh, body score, check ears and
teeth, trim toenails and give shots as needed.
This is a great chance to see what alpaca ownership
is all about. Participation is by appointment
only, so please call to let us know if you will
be joining us. Our schedule for 2010 includes
the following dates:
- Saturday, August 28
- Saturday, September 18
- Saturday, October 16
- Saturday, November 20
- Saturday, December 11
- Dates are subject to change...
Of course you don't have to wait for a herd maintenance
day. You can call anytime to schedule
a visit.

Shearing Day at Weather
Top Alpacas

If you'd like to find out more about raising
alpacas, consider visiting our farm on shearing
day. You can even jump in and lend a hand and
help bring our alpacas one by one to shear off
their winter coats. It's a great way to see what's
involved and get hands-on participation if you're
considering purchasing alpacas.

Alpaca Breeders of Arizona
The Alpaca Breeders of Arizona (ABA), an AOBA
Affiliate, is a regional alpaca organization serving
current Arizona alpaca owners and anyone interested
in joining the alpaca lifestyle. Chris served
on the board of ABA for several years both in
